Kansas City Retired Greyhounds as Pets (KCREGAP) is a 501(c)3 not for profit charitable organization that finds forever, loving homes for retired Greyhound racing dogs. Please click here to see some of the Greyhounds who have done just that since the Woodlands Race Track in Kansas City closed at the end of August, 2008.
Warm weather is just around the corner, which means we'll all be looking for a reason to get outside. How about a way to enjoy the weather, get some exercise, have a great time with friends and family, and most importantly help the greyhounds?
That's right, on June 6th we're Hoof'n It For the Hounds at the Hospital Hill Run!
Once again, KCREGAP has joined The Hospital Hill Run as a charity partner, which allows us to participate in this really fun event while raising money for the greyhounds.
The entire 2 legged family can participate, and you can walk or run any of the three Hospital Hill events—5k(3.1 miles), 10k(6.2 miles), or half-marathon(13.1 miles). You will also get an awesome t-shirt designed by KCREGAP's own Holly Camerlinck, as well as some other goodies and perks along the way! In return, we are asking you to help us raise money for the greys!
